Does anyone know of a good/reputable radon testing company? I'm looking for one who comes into the home and does the box test.... our county mails out charcoal test kits that you mail back.... I'm looking for something far more reliable than that. Perhaps there is a national co. that also works in MN??

Also - does anyone know of a reputable company that mitigates radon? We're in MN - but perhaps that is a national co. that you may have used in another state? Thank you for any help you can offer!

What can I do next?

You can try Angies List, but they have a fee. You can also ask any home inspector, but check them out too. All states have different laws about home inspectors and some do not know what they are doing.
I would Google radon testing in your area, check out what companies come up and read any reviews.
This one came up with 21 Google reviews and a Super Service Award from Angie’s list.

I would call a home inspection company and ask them for a recommendation.

I was thinking you should take the test that the county offers and if the results are high, seek further assistance...then I found this link to EPA that says the same thing!

A neighbor had one put in...about $1300 I think. We just did the home mail in test and were only .1 over what they recommend the level should be. Maybe they could recommend a testing company.
