When my sister passed away from cancer, I couldn't part or give away her clothes... I would love to find someone to create a quilt for my daughters and neice. I think this would be a great way to keep her with us... thank you all.

What can I do next?

To to blanketsbycarol.com.. You can e-mail her or call. She has made so many quilts for me. Sweetest woman and love her work. Not sure if it is something she could do, but worth a try. Tell her P. from New York referred you. Prices are very reasonable, but not sure about something very specific like that. I was thinking of doing that with my granddaughters clothes (the favorites) that she wore from birth to one. Hope she can help.

Try ____@____.com has made 2 quilts for me and is fabulous. I also used to work with her. Good woman. Is on Etsy and has been featured in many quilting magazines. I am so sorry you and your family have lost your sister.

This sounds like a fun idea. Check with fabric stores. They usually have a list of women who sew for pay.
