My daughter's birthday is in 2 weeks and I still havn't planned her party! Any ideas for a good place that is not too expensive? We may even just do it at a park, so any sugestions for the best one for that age group would be appreciated too.
Thanks!

Explorit Zone www.exploritzone.net is located inside Vista Ridge Mall. It is a great location for a birthday party. They do tend to book up fast so I'm not sure if you'll be able to get in since your daughter's party is in only 2 weeks. I booked my daughter's June party in February just to be sure. Good luck!

I am having my son's bday party at a park. I think that's the most inexpensive way to go. I always loved having my birthday parties at the park when i was growing up.

Hey there! I have recently started my own children's party planning (just by friends and/through word of mouth)and have lots of fun ideas that might work for you - especially at a park (and very inexpensive). I recently did a 2 year old party at the park and have invitations (custom made) and other accessories that would be great for a 2 year old party. I can print your invites and other accessories for less than $50 and let you "borrow/rent" the utensils, etc. Please write me back to let me know if you are interested or want to know or see more - my email is ____@____.com and my home phone is ###-###-####. Hope to hear from you!

Thanks, G.

We did my daughter's 2 yr party at a park and it was fabulous. We've been to cousin's parties at a park too. If you want a big thing with food or a meal, have it at 4pm and grill hot dogs while the kids play. Or, you can go easy on yourself and just have cake and juice boxes a little earlier (right after lunch or right after nap). The kids will play on the playground equipment so you don't have to entertain. However, a beach ball and a bucket of sidewalk chalk might be fun to bring along.

Hello K.W. We had a "jumping house" brought to our home for my daughter's 2nd birthday and it was a blast! The kids loved it! It wasn't that expensive either--$85! To keep it cheaper too, don't have it at lunch or dinner time. That way people won't expect a full on meal. Just do snacks or just cake. If you need a name for a jumping house company, check the local guides. You can get them at most daycares, kids shops, McDonalds, etc.

Best of luck!

By the way, I would love to meet more moms in the area with 2-year-olds. My daugher, Lexi, is now 28 months old. Let me know if that interests you!

Kindly,
