please have that checked by your dr. it could be an infection or a sigh of something more serious or it could be nothing at all but it is not to be overlooked.
Started tanning about 2 months ago and just recently my left boob has started to leak. I have two kids 5 and 3 and I'm not pregnant. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I hate to go to the doctor over something like this. I appreciate any help!!

I had leaking after all of my children and my youngest (at the moment) is 8... I dont think it has to do with tanning, but I would just call your doc and ask... You may just be one of the lucky ones who has active milk ducts... I have several still active in each breast... So if it really bothersome I would call your doc... Other than that I was told by mine that it is quite common... Hope that helped a little...

Found this info on www.webmd.com:
Nipple discharge
When you are not breast-feeding, fluid leaking from one or both nipples is called nipple discharge. It may or may not be a sign of a medical problem:
Nonspontaneous discharge that occurs only when you press on your nipple is usually normal and occurs in the majority of women at one time or another. The discharge can be clear, cloudy, white, yellow, green, or brown. The more the nipple is pressed or stimulated, the more fluid is discharged. This type of nipple discharge does not usually indicate a problem.
Spontaneous discharge of fluid or blood from a nipple is a concern, except during pregnancy and breast-feeding. This type of discharge occurs without pressing or stimulating the nipple. Galactorrhea is one type of spontaneous nipple discharge and may be a side effect of a medication or caused by a noncancerous tumor in the pituitary gland (pituitary adenoma), decreased thyroid function (hypothyroidism), or certain types of cancer.
Call your doctor if you have spontaneous nipple discharge or a discharge from only one nipple (unilateral) or that looks like blood.
When was your last mammogram? This shouldn't be a side effect to tanning. You should consult with your physician just to be on the safe side.
I can't imagine the tanning causing the leak.. But you never know.. I have had this problem on occasion.. I have read that sometimes when your period approaches it can happen.. I have also heard of a friend who had the problem and she went to the doctor and found out that she had clogged milk ducts and a small infection.. I would go to the doctor and get checked out just incase because there are those rare cases when its something more.. Let us know what you find out.. Good luck!!
I don't thing the tanning has anything to do with it. The constricting of your nipple when you change may be to blame.
I have this before my period or when I've been without my bra for longer than 8 hours. I've had mammograms and ct scans for mine and everything is negative.
