I have a question and i will apologized ahead of time is this is disgusting. I am sorry.
I had my tubes tied a few years ago and as of lately whenever i do get my period, they are heavy and brown and very painful to where i am in hed because i hurt so bad. Has this happened to anyone and if so what did you do? I am not sure if i should talk with my GYN. I am also prove to ovarian cysts and everytime i get my period, i get a cyst that shows up. I am tired of the pain and i get really worn out to. Please help. Thank you
I don't know why this happens, but I will tell you that you are not alone. I had my tubes tied in July of 2007 and ever since then it has been horrible! The cramping is so bad it makes me feel like I am going to throw up. And the flow is extremely heavy! I wish I had an answer, but just thought it would be reassuring to know you are not alone!
After I had my tubes tied I had the exact same problem. My doctor recommended an ablation. An ablation is when they cauterize your uterine wall (they use very warm saline and swirl it around inside to burn the lining off). I know it sound disgusting, but it is fairly painless, the down time is 24-48 hours and no or very light periods after (i have had none). Ask your doctor about this procedure, it worked for me. All I can say is "when in doubt...go to the doctors!!" It is better to be told you are okay than end up doing damage to yourself and leaving your little one with out a mom! Go to the doctor, please.

I've heard there is a procedure the GYN can do to help this condition. Definitely talk with your doctor.
