Buckle up.
You're going to have another baby!
Home pregnancy tests don't have false positives.

Best wishes and go to the doctor to confirm.

Oh, you are pregnant. Congrats! I got pregnant with my second when my first was 7 months old as well. I was really upset at first but that only lasted a few weeks. The boys are now 6 and 7 and play together really well. Good luck!

Nope. You are pregnant .Congrats.However if you do not want to stop nursing you do not have to stop it.It is just up to you.I nurse through two pregnancy and tandem nurse my first two. That mean that i was still nursing my just turn two years old when my second one was born. It's called "tandem nursing there is a book about it and few mamas on this site have done it.:-)Congratulation to you.16 months apart is hard at first but they are often best friends in the toddler years and beyond.

I'm pretty sure if it says you're pregnant, you're pregnant. Different hormones with nursing than with pregnancy. Congratulations!

(make appt to see the dr. just to be sure)

Congrats! You're prego my dear. Nursing doesn't cause hcg levels to change. :)

Congrats! You will have another baby.
Nursing is NOT reliable birth control... make sure to ask for an ultrasound to date the pregnancy... you might even be father along than you think!
Good luck!

Hahahahah I laughed out loud.... no sweetie you are pregnant! Congrats~
I had a 6 month old and NEVER got a period and found out I was pregnant because breastfeeding had become SO painful!
Make a OB appointment and enjoy.... it will be a bumpy ride, but super fun as well!!!!

Nursing a baby will not give you a false positive. You are probably pregnant. I would wait a week or so and take another test. It is pretty hard on your body to try to nurse and be pregnant at the same time. Not impossible, just hard. So you will want to call your OB right away if you get another positive.

Good luck!

Ditto to all the other answers. Nursing doesn't alter pregnancy tests.

Most likely not. Go to the doctor or to the lab at the hospital and request a blood test to be certain. My babies are 15 months apart and it's hard at first but fun for them to have a sibling close in age to play and fight with ;o) And yes it IS possible to get preggo while nursing. That's how I got my daughter.

Congratulations! The test only picks up HCG which your body produces when you're pregnant.

no- it wouldn't give you a positive result just from nursing- it's checking for HcG- that can only test positive if you are in fact pregnant. congrats! you've got another one on the way
