Purex Laundry Sheets

Has anyone tried the Purex Complete 3-in-1 laundry sheets? I almost bought some the other day, but I wonder how well they really work? I added up the cost of liquid detergent and liquid fabric softener, and the Purex sheets would be cheaper per load.

Thoughts??

*** Update.. when I determined it was cheaper per load, I had taken the cost of a 96 load liquid store brand detergent and cost of a 90 load Downy liquid softener & figured out the total cost per load. The Purex would be less per load. Now if you only compared it to the detergent per load, the Purex was twice the cost.

What can I do next?

Yes.... I use them and I love them. I've bben using them for several months and I cannot think of one negative thing to say. They leave my clothes smelling wonderful and are so easy to use. I don't use the orange, its tropical or something. I use the spring scented. It's well worth the price.

I buy them and love them. They are quick and easy and my laundry smells great when it comes out of the dryer. However, I will say that we do not have heavily soiled laundry (dirt, grease, stains, etc.). So, I don't know how they would stand up to...let's say... a mechanic's jeans.

Love these... regardless of the cost difference the part I love is the packaging. Even though we recycle, we go through a tremendous amount of detergent and always felt badly about the amount of plastics we were buying. Also - less storage space.. I buy in bulk and in advance, kind of squirreling things away for rainy days ((when it rains it pours, ya know)) these are awesome in that they are so small.

I have not tried it but be sure to read what is in it. Does it contain sodium hydroxide, phenol, ammonia or formaldehyde? These–and more–may be toxic.

Here is a link to non-toxic cleaners I use and sell. Oprah Winfrey has endorsed them on her show more than once:

I LOVE MINE!! I know that Consumer Reports says they cost more per load - but I use coupons so it's the same cost. My clothes smell fresh and get clean.

I think they arent more cost per load since your adding in softner and dryer sheet. To me its much less money all together. I love them they make my clothes really soft and I also use the dryer bar for extra static prevention. Its worth it.
