We went to Didier Farms a couple weeks ago. It was a blast! Pony rides, hay rides, pumpkin patch etc. Nice place. Reasonable prices.
Any know of any good pumpkin patches in the north/northwest suburbs?

I would recommend Didier Farms. It's just north of Buffalo Grove.
We go to Didier Farms. We have gone for the psat 4 years on our own and are taking our son for the first time this year. There are animals, rides, food, pumpkins, etc.

Sonny Acres Farm off of North Ave in Carol Stream/West Chicago. I've been going there since I was a kid.
Goebbert's Pumpkin Patch is the best, just google the name and you can find the main website with directions. It is a little further out of the city, it takes about 30 minutes to get there but the ride is worth it. They have everything hayrides, ponyrides, amazing food, and a huge petting and feeding zoo. My kids even got to pet a lion cub last year.
Have fun!
