Not a suggestion for a bar - but for a quick protein: Hard Boiled Eggs. I boil 12 at a time, so it takes about 30 seconds to peel and just a minute to eat.
Hi all! I am looking for a good Protein / Meal Replacement bar that is not too high in Calories? Any suggestions? Im doing low carb and I want a bar to eat when I just don't have time to cook something any suggestions??
Thanks :)

Honestly - skip them. Most of them are glorified candy bars, loaded with sugar disguised as a fancy-named ingredient. If 'evaporated cane juice' or sucanat is one of the first five ingredients, you know it is full of sugar.
Better choices would be a low-fat string cheese, greek yogurt with nuts, or eggs (like another poster suggested).
.
I sell great bars that are healthy and tasty. I also sell protein shakes, snacks...... etc.... If you would like a link send me a message. I am not allowed to post here.
I saw one mom was concerned with sugar in these kind of bars. Keep in mind the type of sugar counts. Consider an apple, which has 11-12 grams of sugar, yet an apple is a healthy snack.
If you need something to carry with you that doesn't need refrigeration, I would recommend the Zone Perfect bars. My husband is very health conscious, and several years ago we both did low carb diets. Zone is relatively low in calories and supplies a variety of nutrients, including anywhere from 10-14 grams of protein. A great pick me up snack, when you don't have access to cheese or eggs. They taste pretty good too. :)
A handful of almonds will also travel well in a ziplock bag, however.
find a herbalife distributor and ask them about protein juice is just 70 calories and very tasty also the protein bars are only 100 calories and delicious :)
Zone or Balance. They have some awesome flavors now. They are balanced 40-30-30 so are the best for you to have as a meal replacement or snack. We eat them all the time when running around with kids. My son loves them too.
When I did body for life about 10 years ago there was a protien powder called Myoplex Light.
also Apex makes a yummy (it doesn't look yummy, but it is- trust me) soy based protien bar called Fit4Soy. you can get them by the case on 24 hour fitness website.
You may also want to talk to a personal trainer or nutritionist to find out other replacement options - OH! to help keep things lower in caloies - use skim milk, don't buy the pre-mixed kind, either.
Good luck!
