You can get a UV blocking window film at Home Depot.
hi everyone--
i just bought this chair in a fun, bright fabric, and the place it will be going is in front of a window. knowing that putting the chair in another place out of direct sunlight or keeping the curtains closed are not options, is there anything i can do to prevent the fabric (mostly the back of the chair) from sun fading? are there any UV fabric guards out there that people recommend? a quick google search led to a bunch of different scotchguard-type of UV spray protectors, but i haven't found any reviews on the products. i could cover the back of the chair with another fabric, but i am concerned about the top of the chair, too, and i don't want to cover that.
any suggestions for products or other ideas?
thanks!

Drape a fun throw blanket over it in a decorative way during the summer, when the sun is the strongest. I like to use and enjoy what I buy, life is short.
Funny....my Grandmother had plastic on her furniture and it outlasted her (she passed in her 90's, in case that sounds bad)!
A few years ago, I used a UV spray-on protector for some outdoor cushions. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name. I purchased it online and I believe it worked well. My only concern is if it would work with your chair fabric without causing changes in the way it feels or looks. I am sure if you look around on the Internet, you will find some options.
I had my windows tinted.
