I ditto The Picture People. I don't know if there's one near you, but they're in malls all over the place, so there's bound to be one somewhere nearby. My kids' pictures always come out so cute when we go there.
We had portraits done at Portrait Innovations in Plano, and we were very happy with them. We had four kiddos under the age of 5, and they did a great job with the kiddos. :)
I ditto Portrait Innovations! I've done Kiddie Kandids too so whichever is more convenient for you. Portrait Innovations gives you way more settings to choose from which in turn gives you way more pictures to choose from.
They are both done by young people, but I've had good experiences at both.
Try Craigs List, some photographers will give you the copyrights to the photos so you may do with them what you please. Click on services and type in the keyword "photographer"
Most Babies R Us stores have a Kiddie Kandids in their stores.
Try "The Picture People." I got my DD's picture taken by them when I lived in California. They were WONDERFUL. Theres more than one in Frisco actually, is that too far?
