Has anyone purchased those spice racks that slide in and out of your cabinets?
Also, how about space bags? I had them years ago and they leaked... how are they now?

Thank you

Space bags did not work for me. They looked "sucked down" for about a day and then slowly leak air back into them. I buy the XL and XXL ziplock storage bags now - they stay sealed and you just sit on them to get most of the air out. Grocery store and Target carry them.

The space bags really suck. I bought a few boxes to put baby clothes away and other things. They leaked and air got into them as well and another thing that I did not like was how the clothes smelled. All the clothes I put in where clean and right from the dryer and a few months later when I needed to grab something out of the bags, the entire bag smelled horribly. A waste of money, I stick to the bins. I also need a good spice rack, let me know about your spice rack outcomes.

My mom has the spice racks and they are kinda flimsy. They work as intended but the product itself isn't very sound. They do not mount in your cabinet so when pulling them out you have to be somewhat careful. They do work though.

I love my Space bags! I use them to change out our clothes every season. I put a couple of dryer sheets w/ them but it's what I do everywhere even our drawers! I also use them for our spare pillows, quilts & towels. When Hurricane Irene flooded my basement all the things I had in the bags were safe & dry - stuff in boxes & tuppers because I hadn't made time to put in the Space bags is now ruined! I even use 1 for important papers like birth certificates, wills, passports etc to keep safe & dry! They have gotten better since they 1st came out & I have gotten 2-3 bad ones but a call to the company & they replaced them. For all the space I've saved, amount of items safe & stored I think a couple of defects is not a big deal - especially when they were replaced! Try them!

Haven't used the spice rack.

Have used Space Bags - some "leak" but overall - very happy with them. They seem to be getting better..and by "leaking" I mean that they lose that "sucked in" tightness, but are still sealed.

I tried space bags but my vacuum hose was too large to fit into the hole to suck the air out so they didn't work for me as intended. My hubby says to roll them up to release the air out of them & that does work but only if you have just a few items in there...doesn't work for big bulky items so if you end up w/the same problem (or anyone else reading my reply) try rolling them up so you don't hafta waste time taking them back to the store. I haven't tried the spice rack & wanted to but some here say they're kinda flimsey. I might get some anyway but may just try to make some out of wood instead, for sturdyness.
