Problems with My Keurig Machine

We have a Keurig that is acting up. It's sputtering the coffee very slowly and only fills the mug a quarter of the way for it's setting then says it's done. I've tried running cycles of plain water through it, but it's not helping. Has anyone had this problem? How have you fixed it? We received this machine second-hand from a relative that upgraded to a bigger one. I don't have the warranty info or anything. If there is a way to fix this, I would love to know.

What can I do next?

Have you tried descaling it? That's supposed to get done every 3-6 months.

And if you are using the k-cup, we had problems with ours. We had to go online to find out what was wrong. There was a piece that needed to be bent and you have to fill it with EXACTLY the right amount or it goes nuts. We recently bought an upgraded k-cup that works much better. GL!

We had one that did the same thing. It was less than a year old and the company replaced it for free. If you call their support line they can help you trouble shoot.
You may have to descale it more than once. Also, if you take the k cup holder out, it pulls apart. You can take a straightened paper clip and poke it in the pin thing that punctures the cup. Sometimes coffee can get stuck in it. Rinse it really good.

Mine is doing this too and it's less than a year old. I guess I should call the company and see about getting it replaced. I'm glad you asked this question! We've just been trying to live with it.

Yep. My mom's had the same problem.
Fortunately, the company replaced it...she talked to them several times and they gave her instructions to fix it-no luck.

I'm thinking mineral build-up, like SB suggested

SB is right. LOVE my Keurig. And the descaling is easy, just takes time.

When I got mine, you could only get them online, so it's been a while. Other than the occasional descaling, I've never had a problem.

Good Luck
