I will be moving to the area for a month this summer to care for my sick mom. I am looking for someone to teach swim lessons to my 6 year old while I am in Austin. Do you have any recommendations? My mom lives in Westlake, so someone South is preferred.

My husband does private swim lessons. He has his BS in Exercise and Sports Science, NASM, CPO and CPR and Lifeguard Certifications through Red Cross for the past 10 years. Thank goodness he'll be teaching our son to swim and not me!!!!!!! :-D Let me know if you're interested and I'll give you his email. We live South Austin.

We use the Austin parks and recreation. There are many pools south, and they use the American Red Cross swim instruction curriculum.
