Yesterday when I was at Costco, I was printing pictures off of a flash drive and a media card from my camera. There was a new option of printing from an I-phone. The clerk tried to help me, but said i needed "gallery" to print directly from my phone. Is it a program to download or is that a new feature on an i-phone or I pad that I do not have? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for all your help. I still have Mobile Me and have not migrated over to Cloud yet. I am in the process of deleting files so I have enough memory to update I-tunes so I can update the programs.
It's part of the Cloud. I have a gallery on my phone, but I also have it on my Mac. It's the the "cloud" thing.
But you don't need it. Just email your photo on your phone to your computer. Download the photo to your computer then send it in for printing via the net. I do this through Walgreens. I'm sure Costco has the same thing.
you probably need to update your iPhone operating system. You need os5 or higher to use iPrint. Do you do regular syncs with iTunes on your computer? If you do it should have automatically updated. Look at your phone for settings>general> about>version. The latest OS version is 5.1, if you have a lower than that you need to do an iTunes sync and update your OS. Once you've done that you can print anything from your phone to a printer that is eprint or iprint compatible.. When viewing a pic you'll see a box with an arrow in the bottom corner (share button). When you click that you get several share options including print. The downside is you have to have a compatible printer. HP makes several of them and they're fairly inexpensive and do a really nice job. Hope this helps!
Walgreens has an app you can send pics to from your phone..
The only thing that I know of to print from an iPhone is a wireless printer or to transfer the pictures to your computer and print them from there.

Look in your apps. I bet there is an app for that!
I usually just email my pictures to myself then save them to my computer or take out the memory card and put it in the slot on my computer then save and print them there I also like to save them to a CD just for back up.
