Priceline Vacation

Has anyone ever booked a vacation thru priceline? I'm doing some research for a Disney trip and I can not believe the price difference. I do know the park tickets and food will be separate, but I still think it will be thousands cheaper than going thru a travel agent or Disney themselves. I'm not sure once you book you are high and dry if there are any issues that come up. Thanks in advance for your response. Just to be clear I am talking about vacation packages including airfare. Not something I bid on. There are actually some Disney properties on priceline. I was surprised.

What can I do next?

I think once you book with them that is it. Anything comes up you are out
of luck. I am assuming that you would be stayiing off property. Never heard of priceline being involved with Disney properties. You can get
inexpensive flights from Jersey depending upon the time of year. I would
think you would do better on your own and this way if something comes up
you have the option to change.

I would be very cautious of Priceline unless you have a lot of flexibility in your schedule. Flights can be pretty random I know that much.

I do know that if for some reason or another you are late for a flight, per no fault of your own even(busy ticket counter), a flight will not be refunded nor changed for you, even if you offer to pay. You will be SOL. That's my only warning regarding Priceline.

Priceline has very good customer service. I've never had an issue booking through them.
You can also use them as leverage. If you calculate the costs and then call Disney and negotiate with them, you can get Disney's price down-if you feel more comfortable using Disney!
Everything is negotiable!

I stay away from all discounters. It is not worth the trouble, especilly if you experience any issues.

I deal directly with my airline (American or Southwest) and directly with hotels. We've been to Disney 8 times and I went directly through Disney to book lodging, meals, etc.

Discounters count on people to not read the fine print and when something comes up, you lose ALL your money...

I book airfare and hotels weekly for our business and I would never ever use a discounter. That is like going to Walmart and expecting to come out with a quality product.... not gonna happen
