Has anyone purchased airfare tickets thru priceline.com? I looked into it and tried to get an itinerary before I purchased the tickets but it doesn't offer it until you pay for the tickets is what it is telling me. The deal is amazingly cheap BUT not sure if it would be worth it if we have to spend all day in the airport.

Most of the time with airfare you are on 2 or more planes that leave very early or very late, usually 6 am. It doesn't tell you until after you purchase...

I purchase priceline when my schedule is completely flexible because you never know when you are going to depart, how many plane changes you might have, or your layover times. When I had to be in a city at a specific time, I set my travel dates for the day before just in case...

I've used priceline also, but like it has been previously said....you just need to be very flexible in your travel times. Prices are amazing though if you don't care about time.

That is the chance you take with priceline, you do not see what your interary is till you pay. Yes great deals but the flights usually depart super early or really late. Also you could be changing planes 2-3 times to get to your destination so plan on being in an airport or flying all day. On rare occassion I have gotten a "normal" flight from them that was a non-stop mid day flight... but that is not normal for priceline.
