Hi I have benn there thrice - twice it was not ok, but then it was good with low hormone as I had abeautiful daughter last dec.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you. It is a stressful time. I worried for quite awhile, as well, and know I will worry just as much the next time around. Although, the worrying/stress does not help anyone. I will pray for U!!

I had a 'slow' start also. You should insist on having your levels checked every 3 days at the most. They should be watching this much closer. I had a healthy girl and my levels got normal after 2 1/2 weeks.

Hang in there. The waiting is horrible! I know, I've been there. Worrying won't make anything better (like you don't know this). Unfortunately, sometimes there are complications. I had two angels taken from me by miscarriage and my 3rd pregnancy was at risk as I had low progesterone levels.

As for the ultrasound, what they see depends on when you actually ovulated and conceived. It's not always so easy to predict that. In the meantime, relax, eat well, get some rest...

I really hope that next week goes well for you and that all works out.

Lets see, in some cases women can experience low levels and still carry a baby but in my case, I was fine for a while and then the bleeding started and the bad crampingstarted and I ended up miscarrying. Instead of my levels increasing, they were decreasing and the doctors informed me that I was miscarrying. I was four weeks pregnant. I wondered why it was happening to me and some of my doctors said it was a bad egg and a few other ones said me getting pregnant so soon after getting off of birth control pills may have contributed to it so I say all that to say, it's a 50/50 chance either way but I would ask them if you should take the pills they had me on, I forget the name of them but they were to help me carry the baby during the first couple months. Some hormone that was supposed to produce naturally wasn't producing like it should have so they gave me pills in hopes my body would carry the baby.

But after I miscarried, they followed me for about four weeks until my levels went down to 0 and the second visit to determine if my levels were at 0, they had gone back up so I was pregnant again and now I have a healthy baby girl. So I don't know what advise I could give except to stay off your feet for long periods of time, don't do strenous work and ask the doctors if those pills would help you increase your hcg levels.

I'm no expert, but in my case my levels where really high. So high, they did not think it would be a healthy pregnancy. They tested me again a few days later and the level was more normal. I was told it could have just been I was tested "at the wrong time" - - meaning there was some fluke at that particular time/moment/day I was tested. In the end, my pregnancy was fine.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you. It is a stressful time. I will be trying again myself in the near future. I worried for quite awhile, as well, and know I will worry just as much the second time around. Although, the worrying/stress does not help anyone.

Again, I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
