You should be fine, as long as their is no discoloration or odor, just rinse it and use it as you would
thought i'd ask anyway. I bought raw chicken at the store that was semi frozen and I thought i was gonna go straight home after grocery shopping, well i ended up lasting about 7 hrs out and about , chicken was the only delicate thing i had to worry about, so now i'm asking, is the chicken still good? It doesn't smell but how long can it survive, if anybody knows. thank u.
my husband tasted it, because i made it yesterday...then after making he gave me the scare of it might not be god anymore, then i posted the question, he said it was good and didn't make him sick. I

Chicken is cheaper than doctors and coffins. I wouldn't take that chance. Give it to the dog, or the next door neighbor, but don't eat it.
If the chicken was cool and not warmed by the sun chances are its okay. Rinse it real well and if it doesnt smell bad it's probably fine.
I've left chicken sit out all night before I realized it. It was still fine.
Just make sure to cook it thoroughly.
It's not worth the risk...what was it, like $5? Buy more:)
The main question is, what type of temperature was the chicken stored in. If it was cool, and it was mostly defrosting during this time, I'm sure it would be fine. However, if it was sitting in a hot/warm car, I wouldn't chance it.
