Hi V.,

I have lived in Coral Springs for 5 years. There are 2 preschools I would recommend. The Imagine Charter School at Broward (my daughter is in 1st grade there-we love it) and the Coral Springs Montessori (I do music classes and private piano lessons there). The teachers are fantastic. The curriculum is hands on and the kids learn so quickly, I am amazed at what they can do.

I have heard good things about Cambridge and Discovery as well, I just don't have any personal experience with them.

Good luck.

Good Morning, V.!
My son and daughter both attended Coral Springs Montessori on Sample Road. It is a wonderful school. Their teachers are warm and nurturing. Go for a tour.
Good Luck!

Whichever school you pick make sure there are NO academics. It should be a place where movement, sensory-motor, art, music, pretend, and socialization are paramount to anything else. Building the right hemisphere of the brain is way more important at 2-5 yrs than academics which builds the left at an inapproriate time. Feed the right brain and it will automatically feed the left. Your child will be smarter down the road then any other kid, provided she is a typically developing kid.

Hi, I have 5 sons. My oldest is 11 n my youngest is 11mths. I love St. Mary Magdalene, Riverside Drive n Shadowwood. The teachers are wonderful. If you are looking for a family atmosphere you will love this school. My 11 yr old started there when he was 3. My 4th son is there now n as soon as my lil guy turns 3 he will go there too. I looked around at other schools, however, everyone at this school is very warm, friendly, loving n caring. If you are ever running late, they have no problem waiting at the school. If you are looking for a small family oriented school, this is the place!! I can not say enough great things about all of the ppl there. The hours are 9 to 12, 2 days, 3 days or 5 days. Your child could stay from 12-2 for 8. a day.
you should check it out ###-###-#### ask for sherry n tell her L. with the boys sent you.
Good Luck!

my kids went to Coral springs Christian Preschool at First Presbyterian Church on the corner of Royal Palm and Riverside. I was very happy with the school. I've also heard good things about Mary Help of christians (Catholic) preschool in Parkland off University and Westview.
