I'd say 5 of each (because I assume he already has clothes he can still wear). And I'd recommend going to a consignment shop because it will be a lot cheaper and they're just play clothes. Not like he needs anything expensive or fancy for preschool.

If it's not a "uniform" school I would just buy 5 jeans and a bunch of t shirts. T shirts you can buy fairly cheap nowadays. Jeans can last a while and you can wash them during the week if needed. Don't go overboard on buying much. Congrats on the little one starting school!

I would have at least 5 pairs of pants/jeans/shorts and shirts so you're not having to do laundry all the time. Most likely the preschool will also want to keep a change of clothes at school, so make that 6 of each! Good luck to you and your son!

I'd say 5 bottoms and 10 tops to all interchange.

Just send him in the clothes he normally wears. The only exception would be if he wears jeans, I would send him in sweat pants since they are easier to pull on and off. Also, switch to shirts that are easy to push the sleaves up as they do lots of arts and crafts.

I would just have 4-5 bottoms and tops. Jeans are probably a bad idea for a preschoolers unless they have an elastic waist. Preschoolers have a hard time with zippers and snaps or buttons.

Unless he has to wear pants to school I would do regular shorts and any other clothes he already has. When he outgrows stuff buy him new that fits him then. Just because school is starting does not mean he "should" have a new wardrobe. The clothes he is wearing today when he is going out, not play clothes for home, but regular clothes, they are fine for school too.

It depends on how often you want to do laundry! I would say at least 1 pr. pants each day, and one shirt, plus, they might require you keep an extra pair in his backpack just in case. however, i agree with the others who said that sweatpants or athletic pants are easier/more comfortable for kids. of course, check your schools dress code if there is one.
