Preschool Teacher Gifts - Seattle,WA

This seems to be a hot topic right now! My sons go to two different preschools. One of them they attend a single day a week. There are at least 4, maybe 5 teachers at that school. Their regular preschool where they attend 4 times a week, has a teacher, the assistant teacher and SLP/OT staff. Would it make the most sense to give a gift to each group of staff members, like a big box of chocolates or a fruit basket? I like the idea of everyone enjoying a gift. Do others do this?

What can I do next?

Last year when my son was in preschool, he would attend Extended Care once a week. There were 5-6 different ladies that worked extended care, so I decided to bring them lunch one day. I arranged it ahead of time and brought sandwiches, fruit, chips, soda, and dessert. They LOVED it! It was a great way to treat everyone for less than $25.

Definitely do a food basket for them! You can write separate cards if you want (though not necessary) to each teacher, especially if they're special to your boys.

I think that is a great idea! Its too hard to buy for each one and picking one or two isnt fair either...so a group gift of treats seems appropriate and wonderful.

Home-baked gifts are always appreciated.
