Milpitas may be a bit farther out- but Bright Start day care is a great preschool we out our son in here. He loved it, its small, child/teacher ratio is great and they are bilingual :)
Can anyone recommend a preschool in the Sunnyvale, Mountain View or Los Altos area? I am looking for full time preschool for my 2.6 years old daughter.

Two of our sons attended Little Acorn School in Mountain View. We liked the loving attention, incorporation of Christianity in an age-appropriate way (saying grace and visits from pastor about once per month), and preparation for kindergarten as they got older. There were also supplementary activities such as gymnastics and Spanish classes.
We're big fans of the T'enna preschool at the JCC on San Antonio Road. It can be full-time or not, it can be full week or not, but both part-time and full-time experiences are excellent. The teachers are the best we've seen, without exception, and the facilities allow for swimming lessons, gym & dance/creative movement as part of the regular school day.
My daughter was at Peninsula Day Care from age 2.5 until she was 11. She loved it there. The teachers are great and the price is very reasonable. they also have a full time summer program that is full of fun for every age.

the other nice thing is that when your child does start school they have a bussing program for Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto schools. Good Luck.
