Moving to Colleyville area. I'm looking for prek for my 4 yr old and part time preschool for 2 yr old. Way are some good choices? Reading friends gets good reviews. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks.

WONDERFUL program!! Great teachers many longterm teachers there!! We did the transitional pre-K which is for kids held back or just missed the Sept 1 cutoff and/or already did pre-K. They start at I think 2 yo and go up to this class of 5yo. Depending on age you either go T-TH or T-W-Th from 930am-230pm. Give Jan a call and get more info and go for a tour! Compared to the other preschool we did for 2 years also in Colleyville, I could tell a HUGE difference. Course it has been a few years since we attended, but their program has been around a long time. Their first students from Noah's Ark preschool graduated HS either the year we attended or the year before!!
Discovery School in NRH is wonderful! It is at Smithfield United Methodist. The teachers love the kids and they are known for hands-on learning. If you would like more info, just send me a message.

My children have gone to both and they are wonderful. We live in Colleyville. Spanish Garden School is Spanish Immersion and offers 5 day and extended care. Compass Christian Preschool offers the standard 2-3 day week from 9:00-2:00. I hope this helps.
My kids Lauren (almost 4) & Will (18 months) go to Pennacle Montessori of Keller on FM 1709. We've been there for almost a year and love it there. Great staff and they have great learning tools! Check them out!

My kids went to St. Martin-in-the-Fields preschool, and we loved it there. I plan on sending my youngest there when he's ready. I have friends who have sent their kids to Reading Friends and FBC Keller, and they have good reports as well.
