Yes yes yes yes!! I went through this so badly! New Chapter's 'Perfect Prenatal' was my salvation. Two a day (i took them with breakfast and dinner) and even on an empty stomach they never made me sick.

You can get them at Vitamin Shoppe, Whole Foods or online at Amazon, etc. Give them a shot!

I just took the $5 ones from Walmart and they were the only ones that didn't make me ill. It's the fish oil that kills me! I've also heard to take kids vitamins that are chewable.

I don't know of any specific brand, but with my first pregnancy I took tablets that made me sick. With this last pregnancy I took geltabs and never felt sick once. I'm not sure if you can find any OTC, but I think that's what made the difference for me.

With both my pregnancies, I used Prenatal One Vitamins by Rainbow Light. It sounds like a random brand but they are really awesome. No nausea whatsoever and all natural ingredients. You take just one daily. Here is the website. It's really gentle on your tummy...I never had any nausea. I took it also while breastfeeding. Hope this helps. :) Here's the website-

My doctor advised me to take Folic Acid vitamins for the 1st trimester during all that morning/noon/night sickness, then once I feel better, go ahead and transition to a chewable prenatal vitamin. While vitamins are very important, the number 1 vitamin that is needed MOST in the 1st trimester is Folic Acid which is why she suggested I take that supplement and not to worry about the rest...at least for the 1st trimester. And as advised, once the 2nd trimester began, I began taking the chewable and felt just fine.

Be sure to take vitamins with food. That should help prevent the sick feeling. Also try taking them at night before you go to bed. You'll sleep and not be so aware of how you're feeling.

If the pill has iron in it, it's probably the iron that's making you feel sick. It's especially important to take iron and calcium with food. Calcium also makes some people nauseous.

I couldn't tolerate any kind of vitamin you had to swallow whole, so I took Flintstones chewables. I also found them easier to take at night than in the morning. My twin babies were very healthy when they were born! Good luck.

I never used OTC prenatals prescription only my first OB would not even suggest OTC prenatals (ya i'm sure he was paid to do a script)but it made since they are not all created equal.I have heard that 2 Flinstones do well even for those with the mornign sickness,I take mine right before bed time making sure I have had my snack

I used children's gummy vitamins and folic acid. It was the only thing I could handle, but they just started making gummy prenatal vitamins, so maybe try them, I saw them at walmart. I had to do this with both of my kids and they were big and healthy, so it should work for you. You might need to supplement with Magnesium for cramps later since they are in the prenatal ones. Good luck, I know how hard this can be.

not sure if the have Walgreens drugstore out there, but I took their OTC pre-natals and did great with them. I had a really hard time with the calcium pills making me throw up, so with my second pregnancy I took the walmart brand and was fine.

I don't know about you but i had the pregnancy from hell! And pre-natals brought out something in me that reminds me of a scene from the exorcist. NOT GOOD... I took to gummy vites and folic acid. My child is healthy as can be, and my tummy and esophagus thanked me.
