I would think your doctor would know better than anyone on any web site.
I am almost 44 and at the beginning of the year the dr checked my hormone levels and they were high so she thought i was starting premenopause. I had my tubes tied 11 yrs ago but havent had a period since june. I have only one ovary and now am wondering if i might be pregnant. I took a test today but it was negative. I have been having some hardness and twitches in my belly. Could i be pregnant? The only other thing that i am wondering could it be an ovarian cyst? I never even felt the one i had in the other ovary.
Thanks everyone who responded to my question. I just saw the dr and while i am not pregnant she did agree that it couldhappen. I had an ovarian cyst which was causing the pain. I feel so much better knowing what the problem is.

Im sorry, but if your doctor thought you were starting menopause at the beginning of year, six months later your periods stop, and your tubes are tied, why on earth does "I'm pregnant!" even cross your mind? Now, with all of the above and a negative pregnancy test, you are still so convinced that pregnancy is a possibility that you turn to strangers on the internet?
If you've had unprotected sex
And your tubal spontaneously reversed
AND your hormone levels evened out
then yes, you could be pregnant.
You can either wait 30-some weeks and see what pops out or go to your doctor.
Interesting first question. I'd say no.
You aren't pregnant.
If you start having pain, then go for an ultrasound. Ovarian cysts hurt like the absolute dickens.
I had only one ovary and without the aid of birth control had my second beautiful son at the age of thirty three. However, since your test was negative you are probably not pregnant. Those tests these days are pretty predictable. Since you already had an ovarian cyst before you know what that was like even if you didn't feel it. ( I had one also but I felt it). Obviously as much guessing we can do you must see your doctor. It just sounds like your body is changing.
perio-menopause does not preclude pregnancy.
tied tubes, if done correctly (and presumably if it's been 11 years, it was) does.
you've had a negative pregnancy test.
twitches are unlikely to be a pregnancy.

Morning
have they checked you for fibroids. It's been my experience that they can cause your belly to feel hard and it's odd, but when I first developed them, they made this kinda twitching movement (very subtle) ... not everyone feels that sensation..
anyway, it's worth checking out. Fibroids aren't always detected by touch, they have to do an ultra sound to really see what's going on inside..
best of luck
