M.S.
I loved how friendly the public was when I was pregnant. Also, seeing other pregnant women out gave you that instant connection and we would always smile at one another almost as if to say - Hang in there mama!
I was just cleaning out the litterbox when I thought to myself, "It sure was nice when I was pregnant and I didn't have to worry about doing this since DH took care of it for me."
I miss those little things about being pregnant...like...having special designated parking spaces reserved for "Expectant Mothers Only"...or...when people were more apt to help you load heavy groceries in the car...or...not having to do as much at home b/c of having the need to rest up for the big arrival.
What were your pregnancy perks???

Not having to suck in my stomach, even at the pool!
Damn it, I was beautiful! I had an excuse for the little belly bulge in my sweater dress. I was looking for the parking spaces--had been looking forward to my turn--but they were nowhere to be found. I had an excuse for being late to work.
Absolutely awesome hair, skin & nails WITHOUT TRYING!! *sigh*
I loved when I could lay on the couch and say "I wish I was playing Tetris" and my husband would turn the Nintendo on and hand me the controller. :-)
It was also nice to be a comfortable temperature for once, instead of constantly cold.
Being encouraged to nap frequently. In the middle of the day, no less.
Pregnant sex!!! It was the best ever! If I thought for a second I could afford or handle more, I would have has 10 kids just for that reason, lol!!
Preggo parking rocks! I also have a wonderful husband that is more than willing to help me with things that I cant do or shouldnt be doing and he has taken care of the litter box since I found out I was pregnant with my first. I also take advantage of the help that strangers offer up like opening doors and carrying things for me =)
I am a real get up and go type of person though that cant even sit for a 2 hr movie without feeling like I could be doing something productive so I am happy that I only have about 7 weeks left before I can take on whatever I feel needs to get done
Not having to clean the litter box.
Not having to worry about what my bf would think if I ate more than him at meal time (I could anyways even though I'm technically underweight for my size, `but it was nice to not have to leave the restaurant hungry just because I didn't want to look like a pig).
NO BARN CHORES (My sisters took care of them all)!!!
The ability to sleep at any point of the day (I've always had problems taking naps... No matter how tired I am, I just can't fall asleep in the middle of the day... When I was pregnant, that was no longer a problem).
Oh, and no heavy lifting at work :)
So now that we remembered all these perks of being pregnant, let's remember all of the downsides!!!
Eating what I wanted b/c my pants were elastic anyway!
My wife's perks were swollen legs, gestational diabetes and awkward sex. And she wants to do it all again this year! Really only the parking spots at Babies R Us.
