OK, you are a SAHM. I was nauseous all day long with all three kids, whoohoo. What made a huge difference for me was when I got up in the morning. I had quit work to go to school when I got pregnant with the eldest. Morning sickness was horrible, had to quit school at the end of that semester because of the nausea and the futility of going to school when I would be delivering mid-semester. So I went back to work but that was hell so I made a deal with my boss to come in at 9:30 instead of 8:00 for about a month or so, and we gradually adjusted until I felt better and went to work on time.
My second child, I was working full time and the nausea was horrible because I had to be at work at 8:00 every day. With the youngest I was at home and could stay in bed longer or return to bed after getting the kids off, and it makes a huge difference.
If you can either go lay down on the couch to supervise while the little one watches some t.v. if he/she is an early riser or if the kids can come into your room, that should help a lot. The crackers, nothing helped me. Ginger snaps might help and Teddy Grahams were actually better for me than the crackers.
It may also sound weird but with all three pregnancies, the only thing I could eat in the first trimester were salads, Asian food, and pizza. I also could not keep anything down beverage wise except Mountain Dew. Hydration is important but drinking water that you are going to immediately throw up is not going to do you any good. As I got better, I replaced the soda with water and juice but anything else I drank early on was a no go. You might want to try Sprite as it has no caffeine. It is not uncommon for water to upset you during this time and milk is really bad, can literally curdle in your stomach, juice has acid, meh.
Experiment. Asian food probably agrees with pregnant people because of the ginger and I think there are ginger supplements that you might be able to take. Nibble rather than eating whole meals and if you find a food that works, just stick with it. Once you get out of the first trimester you should be okay. We feel your pain.
