Sometimes you get pushed off the fence, lol!
I bet the odds are not too good. Still, you need to make a big decision on if you are trying or if you are not trying to have another and really prepare for it. A baby's life depends upon it.
Has anyone gotten pregnant while on their period? What are the chances of that happening? Needless to say I did not use protection and it was day 5 of my menstraul cycle. We are on the fence about another child but now after this, I am having second thoughts especially since I am considered advanced maternal age...Over 40. I have normal periods and not due to ovulate until next week. Yes I know....if you don't use protection you're always at risk of getting pregnant but what is the likelyhood that pregnancy could happen?

It's highly unlikely. Here is an address for a web site that explains this. http://www.babycenter.com/404_can-you-get-pregnant-during...
I'd see this happening as a good thing. Perhaps this will help you know mor clearly whether or not you want another baby.
I got pregnant on day 6 of my cycle with my third child. But, I normally ovulated around day 10 at the latest or so anyway so much earlier than day 14. I never had 28 day cycles either, more like 21 or 24.
So, yes, it could be possible depending on what your cycle is like.
I had a friend who could only get pregnant on her period. That was how she ended up as a teen parent, and then when they were trying, it was the only thing that they hadn't tried, and then when they did she was pregnant that cycle. So, yes, you can get pregnant on your period, but its not likely.
Well, it's cutting it kind of close. I guess it depends on how early you ovulate. I've read that the swimmers can live up to 6 days so if you were to ovulate early, say on day 11 then it's possible.
Given your age and period, the odds are probably very low. It still could happen, but it's more likely it won't.
Definitely don't have any more unprotected sex, until you are sure you want a child.
Apparently some women can be coitus-induced ovulators--at least that's what my Human Reproduction professor told us in college.
both of my pregnancies happened the last day of my period, the second one I was SURE we had missed the window and was mad at hubby, lol, but turns out that ONE time we did it, on the last day of my period, was the right day.
