I am currently pregnant with my second daughter and my face is a mess. I look like Im going thru puberty again. When I was pregnant with my first I swear my face and skin had never looked better. I was actually thinking that that would happen again but nope. I know that I cant use any medicated acne care on my face while pregnant or breastfeeding but please tell me that there is a way to help this without using anything toxic. Before I became pregnant with my first I was using proactiv and it was working pretty well but I stopped as soon as we started trying just in case and within weeks of finding out that I was expecting my face was as clear as could be. Hormones can just be evil sometimes
Sorry, all I can recommend for you is to try the real aloe vera plant - Rub the juice/gel from it daily on your face to keep it from getting scars when done.

Proactive is safe to use while pregnant/breastfeeding. you want to avoid topical retinoids, but proactive does not contain these. I have used proactive while pregnant & my ob said it was just fine. I now use aquaglycolic wash (i have to ask them to order it at walgreens but it is over the counter)...but honestly while pregnant I always get bad acne & nothing really clears it all the way up, I try to use a loofah on my body & I use a toothbrush on my face to cleanse the pores. & I try to get a little sun to dry it out as much as possible
Hang in there--- i am in the same boat! I don't know what to do either. ANy chance you are having a girl? Were you other pregnancies boys? I had no issues with my boys and this pregnancy it is like teen years all over again. I am wondering if I might be carrying a girl! GL!

Don't know what i'm having yet but have horrible acne on my face,chin & down my chest I use Dove bar soap it is non drying & helps with moisture to balance the skin, had to stop using my precribed medications.It may be my 3rd girl i'll have to wait
