MY neighbors are Indian. They send over Parle G Biscuits and Naan often. Both are prepackaged and available in the US.
Costco around here sells naan in their frozen foods department. They also have frozen samosas...yum.
I would like to find a food representing this country...but it must be prepackaged and available in US..my city doesn't have a big ethnic foods selection..but I will try there first..just not sure what to look for.

My grocery store has packages of naan. Regular and garlic naan. To me that is a yummy taste of India.
We like the Parle G biscuits.

We like the Parle G biscuits.
Every Indian restaurant we go to has three condiments set out at the table (usually in a purpose built lazy suzan type of thing) mango chutney, tamarind sauce, and something with cilantro. If you could get your hands on those jars and serve them up with crackers, I think it would do for a "taste".

There's a chain called Aldi, and there's one at 3124 North Ridge East Ashtabula OH 44004. Looks like it's close - less than 10 miles. I know ours here in TX has Naan bread, not sure what else.
If you have the time, I'd suggest finding an Indian food website and see if you can order some bags of chewda, Punjab mix, Bombay mix, or something like that. Those are mixes including rice, peanuts, fried noodles, spices, seeds, and other munchy things. They're very tasty and I bet you could get them packaged in small bags or make up bags yourself from a larger bag.
If you can't find anything locally, try Amazon. I'm sure there will be a large selection of Indian snacks. Look for "Masala" or "Madras", maybe "Dal" in the descriptions. A lot of the snacks will be spicy, crunchy mixes that are delicious.
I am Indian . Not sure what you are looking for but Costco had some things and i am sure you can find a Indian store some driving distance it will have what you need. Online is also a good option. Not sure a specific site since we live in Dallas. No dearth of Indian stores h here. Good luck
