i know when my daughter wears the looser sweat pants this happens too. normaly in jeans it doesnt... also get some cheap shoes walmart has them cute and cheap get 2 pairs so she can switch out. good luck hope this helps!
My 2 1/2 year old daughter is mostly potty trained. She's been wearing panties and only has an accident once a day or every other day. She is wearing regular panties because the training panties didn't really absorb anything anyway. The rubber pants didn't hold much back either. We occasionally use disposable pull-ups when we go out but not for everyday use because they're a waste when she's so good at holding it. At home and at school she goes to the bathroom about once an hour. There are times when the timing might be off and she has an accident. When she pees in her pants it always soaks the lining of her sneakers. I have to wash them and dry them before she can wear them again. They are starting to warp a little and she often has to wear other shoes until they're ready again. Then she'll soak those shoes too. Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid always having to this happen? I was thinking about having her wear Croc's all the time but maybe I'm missing something obvious.
I'm going to get some Crocs after all.

how about canvas shoes? they have no lining and can be washed and much safer than Crocs
If she is cooperative with potty training, you might try reading the Toilet Training In Less than a Day book. It worked on my 27 month old son (two years ago). It would be a snap since she's already partially trained. Then you wouldn't need to worry about the shoes business any more. You can find the book on amazon.
The solution might be for you to take her or tell her to go to the bathroom at regular intervals. If she's anything like my daughter she might be waiting until the last minute sometimes and might need reminding.
Hi E.,
Just remember that this phase will pass. Soon she will get better at reading her body's signals and getting to the bathroom on time.
In the mean time, I recently saw a "potty watch" at Learning Express. It reminds your child every 30 minutes (I think that you can adjust the intervals) to go to the potty. I did wish that I had seen this when my daughter was training b/c it seemed like I had to remind her to go for a long time.
Good Luck!
