If what you are doing is working okay, why change it? The best advice I would say is stay consistant, and try to go without pull-ups completely.
If this is the 1-3 day training I've read about, it calls for giving the kid lots of stuff to drink and hanging around the bathroom. I'm not too keen on this idea, since it's forcing the kid to go through artificial means and when they are completely full, not noticing the normal feeling of needing to use the potty.
