M.,
My son was potty trained when he was 2. I would start when you have time at home with them. If you work during the week, start on Saturday when you have all day with them. I would also start with your strongest twin who can grasp learning things faster. I practiced with him for a few months, you are probably already there. Before his 3rd birthday I just took my son's diaper once he understood mommy and daddy potty on the toilet. He wet himself a few times for the first couple of days. Make sure if you are out to have extra clothes, if they wet themselves. You might get frustrated, but be firm on telling them they "must go potty on the toilet". I told him if he listed to mama and went potty I would take him to toys r us. When he consistently pottied I did:) I still kept pull-ups on at night for 1 month. I would suggest when both twins are stable on the potty, then proceed with taking off the pull-ups at night. Before they go to bed have them go to the bathroom. I hope this helps, I tried everything and this worked well for me.
