We are on week 3 of potty training and she was doing great. She had 3 days nothing in her underpants. Now she has at least 3 a day. I am not getting mad at her but we feel like we have to fight to get her to go on the potty to try. We have a sticker chart for her every time she goes she gets one. I don't know what else to do. I do not want to go back to diapers during the day. We use them at night. We do us pull ups for he car or store rides. So i need some advise from all you great moms. Thank you

What can I do next?

She's only 29 months I wouldn't push it too much. You need to take her every 1-2 hours and when its time to take her potty tell her "it is time to go potty do want to take the x book or y book" Children are more likely to do something if they feel they have a choice don't ask her if she wants to go but do give her choice related to going. If she goes she gets a sticker if not just tell her she made a good try.

We started potty training in October and she still has accidents from time to time. She went thru periods where she was dry all day to never making it to the potty at all. I encourage her to go periodically but I don't force her as it turns into a tantrum and that is not the point. We didn't use a sticker chart or anything. I just tried to stay calm and did a LOT of laundry. It just takes time. I wouldn't get discouraged as 3 weeks really isn't that long. She is just exercising her right to make the decisions about her body and she will get better with time. Good luck!

When my daughter was training I would set a timer and she knew that when it went off she had to go try. I still had to take her in there but it wasn't as much of a fight to leave what she was doing.

Try rewarding her with something else other than stickers. My daughter would get a special prize or treat and she was trained very quickly - and didn't even look for the treats after a short while. I let her pick out the potty she wanted and she would only go on that one and she loved it. We brought it everywhere with us. She still wears a pullup at night now - even though months ago she would always wake up dry - but at least no more diapers during the day and now she goes on the big potty all by herself and even wipes! Good luck to you!
