I have a 2yr.old and it has been hard trying to potty train her. She would let me know if she has to do the number 2 but doing the number 1 she doesn't. I need to know some good potty training technic?

what worked with me for my son was to put him on the potty about 5 minutes after he would finish his sippy cup. i made him sit there and we would sing and play until he went potty. then of course there was the celebrational "yay!" and telling him how wonderful and smart he is. he loves going to the potty now.

My only advice is to wait. she just might not be ready or not able to tell yet when she needs to go. When you think she's really ready I'd put her in underwear instead of pull ups whenever possible. Just don't rush it. My daughter used to go on the potty whenever I asked her to for MONTHS before she FINALLY at one month shy of 3 years old said those magic words "I have to go".

Generally speaking, the more verbal, the easier to potty train. Also, keep it in perspective. She will NOT go to high school in diapers. Let her set the pace. Human nature makes her want to push back as much as you are pushing her. She'll use the potty!

What worked with my son was Big Boy underwear. We told him that if he got them wet he couldn't wear them. He was so proud to wear them he only had a few accidents.

Dont rush her , the harder you push the longer it will take to train her.

Just don't push it. I did with my son and it took him twice as long to get completly trained. Plus we went back and forth between pull ups and underwear and it didnt help. Just ease off a little and she may go "hey mom quit pushin now I wanna do it" lol.U know how kids are the less interested u are about something u were once so adament about the more they wanna do it. Plus they also say most girls aren't completly trained till 3 and boys 3 1/2. Wish ya luck!
