Any advice? my daughter is 2 1/2 and always says "i cant" when try to urge her to use the potty. She has 3 different potties, tried cloth diapers and she just kept wetting them, she doesn't like pull ups any advice?
Thanks.. I will try later on. I just hate how other people tell me I need to get her out of diapers. She always lets me know after the fact. I dont think she is connecting when she has to go. Thanks for the advice

I agree she doesn't sound ready. My second son just turned 3 and he finally seems to have figured it out in the last month. My first son was potty trained at 2 1/2 and I thought my second son would be similar but he just wasn't ready and there is no use forcing it because eventually it will click with them and they figure it out.
She is not ready so do not push the issue. when she tells you that she is peeing and pooping in her underware then she is ready. She has to be able to make the connection that she is going or needs to go. My son was 2 years and 8 months old then we started doing the potty training. Within in a month he was good to go. He wet himself may be once at night. I was surprised that was all but he was ready. Good luck. She will go when she is ready.
shes not ready!!!! leave her alone and try again in a few months
When my daughter was little I read somewhere that potty training is the only thing the child can have control over. I tried off and on to potty train my dd and when I gave up she trained fine. BTW... she was 3 yrs old.
