Daughter is 2.5, went pee 2x in a row by herself..no help or pushing from me last week. Has not wanted to try again. Do I take the long weekend and go cold turkey with undies and no diaper and see what happens or am I wasting my time? I also have a 6 mo old so my hands are busy. If you have done this and it worked let me know otherwise I plan to wait until she shows interest again. I work full time and she is in daycare but with holiday we will be home 3.5 days straight together. She is not waking up dry, usually around 1130 pm she gets up and I change her. If dry in the morning I ask her to use the potty but she says no...

What can I do next?

From my experience you can't just let the child decide when to go on their own or not but you have to take charge and say we are going to sit on the potty now. Take her and see that she sits on it and go again in about 15-30 min. I set a timer and when it went off the child knew to go sit on it. Reset the timer and keep going until there are no accidents and she is going all day and the next and the next, etc. It takes a lot more work on your part than on hers. It sounds like she is ready and if she is waking up dry and shows interest I would start her now.

Jump on her interest now. Don't go straight to undies, but try to get her interested in going consistently. Stickers as a reward always worked well for me(I have trained 4 now). When she goes regularly then put on the underwear. Don't us pull-ups during the day--it regresses them. Underwear until she figures out it isn't fun to have a mess in you pants. Good Luck!

I would go for it. Only if the dc will also be on board with the potty training. That was my biggest problem with training my son. they did not want him potty trained!!!!

I would just wait. Yay for her for going. But if she doesn't want to try again no sense in frustrating the both of you. Wait a little while until she shows interest again.
