What do you do when they wont try?
You need to give us a lot more to go on before anyone can help with suggestions.

How old is your child, and what gender? These are important factors. Your kid's gotta be ready, or you need to be willing to follow one of the alternative approaches until he/she is ready.

First of all,how old is your child? If they are not ready he or she will not go. They need to show signs of readiness. They have to be able to tell you for example, I have to poop or I am peeing in my diaper. Once they do that then they are ready. If you do it too soon it will backfire. When ready get your child a training toilet and take it your child with you to pick it out. offer rewards when they go potty. It will work out when the time is right.
