Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a potty seat for a 2 year girl. I am a little confused with all the different reviews. I am open to either an all in one or just a floor seat. We have not started training yet. Thank you all for you help.

What can I do next?

Any potty seat works. They are all the "same" in my opinion. Its just up to you if you want one w/ "bells and whistles" to make it fun, but be careful your toddler doesnt want to always play w/ or in her potty. Or its up to you if you want one thats compact, cute, doubles as a step stool, or matches your bathroom decor somehow. Its all total personal preference. I got the one that doubles as a stool and my daughter likes to dump it herself so she can turn the base over and use it to wash her hands. And as this is all fine and dandy, I'd prefer to dump it myself to avoid any mess. So just a word of caution on that one. Also you can just get a seat that fits on your toilet. It makes the hole smaller and its cushioned. Also, if you plan on having more children you might want to get one w/ a little peepee spout guard in case you have a boy. Then you can use the same one for all your children.
Good luck potty training.

My kids now 5(girl) and 8(boy)did not like the pottie seats. I bought many different kinds but both of them just wanted to use the big pottie. You just have to hold them on at first so they don't fall in. They wanted to be like mommy and daddy.

Hi M.,
I have 2 boys, and we have a floor seat the my oldest can sit on, and we also have one that attaches to the toilet in his bathroom, that way when he is upstairs he doesnt have to run to the other potty, and vise versa! My son's floor potty plays music when he goes and he really likes that! Hope this is helpful for you!

Hey M. I have a now 2 1/2 yr old and I took her to pick out her seat and she picked the Dora and Diego ones that fit on the potty. She won't use a child's potty for some reason, i figure b/c we don't. She loves her seats! We got them from Babies R Us.
