Potty Seat - Scottsdale,AZ

Does anyone know of a potty seat to go on the toilet that fits under the adult seat? I have a tilet topper that sits on top of the adult seat, but when my son pee's, it shoots between the adult seat and the base. So I thought if there's a seat that fits on the base, there would be no more leaks.

Also, does anyone let there son stand up and pee at 3 yrs? How does that work? Is it really messy?

What can I do next?

T.,

I have two boys. One sat down to potty train. I had the same problems with between the seat\base. My youngest likes to stand up. We used a stool for him to stand on and small paper stars that he could throw in the water and aim for. make it fun, it always works. There are specialty toilet papers that work also. Throw a designed square in and aim. Great target practice. Good luck!

Hi T.
I haven't heard or seen of any such type of toilet seat that fits under the reg. seat (sorry,no help with that).
My little boy (he's 3) will usually sit way back and hold "it" down.
There are these flushable little bullseyes that float on the top of the toilet water and he's been using those to aim. He thinks it's fun. I think you can get them at Walgreens or other drug stores.

I have two potty seats and they both sit on top of the regular seat but by chioce my 3 uear sits on the regular potty with no seat at all. He looks funny but its actually less messy! My son sits when he pees. I figure we should get use to that before we try standing. They actually make urinals for boys so they can learn it. Since my son uses the reg potty he is too little to stand and he has tried a few times and that is messy! Well good luck

My son is not quite three and he stands when he has to use the potty. I felt it was easier to teach him the 'right' way first, rather than going back later to teach him to stand. When we are out in public it is a little trickier to have him stand because of the height of the toilet. I just simply pick him up under the arms and have him 'aim' into the toilet. So far, so good. He does have times when he dribbles on the toilet, but he just wipes it up himself with toilet paper and flushes it down. I, of course, make sure he washes his hands after.
