I have 3 children, gained more than 50 lbs with each pregnancy and lost it all with each one. I breast fed for one thing. Breastfeeding helps with weight loss. Once I got the okay to exercise, I did not diet but I exercised. Even now, I still exercise, 6 days a week. I love chocolate and have certain foods I crave throughout the month but I eat in moderation. I make healthy meals that do not involve a lot of fat and sugar. Vegetables and fruits are a must and we don't eat out a lot and we stay away from fast food restaurants. Drink water throughout the day, stay away from soda and other sweetened drinks. Drink a glass of water before lunch and dinner that way you feel fuller and eat less. Think healthy eating. Stay away from chips, dips, candy, cakes, pastries. When you get the munchies for something you shouldn't eat, chew some sugarless gum or keep yogurts on hand and grab a yogurt instead. Don't eat a meal past 7 P.M. because it won't be enough time to burn it off before bed time. You won't get the weight off by dreaming about it. You have to work it off and it may take a few months but you can do it...IF you are determined. Exercise is the key, though.
