Possible Implantation Bleeding

Had a similar experience with 2 of my pregnancies. Spotting occured from day 10-15 after ovulation. The discharge can be brown or pink and be completely normal. I'd wait until at least Sunday to test, but, it's very possible you have a bun in the oven. I have not forgotten these anxious days of trying to conceive. It took 6 months with my second baby, and each month was full of both excitement and dread. Looking back, I'm so glad we didn't conceive on the first month because then my kids would be even closer in age. After having our second, 20 months later our 3rd was born--a complete surprise and proof that contraception does indeed fail sometimes--even for midwives like myself who are supposed to be experts on the subject. I had implantation bleeding twice. Sounds like it to me.
Mine was pink and lasted no more than a day (happened when my period was due).
Then nothing. I knew something was up!

In February of this year, we got pregnant. I was about 5 weeks along. I started "spotting" like what you are talking about on a thursday and by sunday went to the emergency room. they took blood and said I was probably miscarrying. I had to go to my dr.s office 2 days later so they could test my blood again. Ended up I did miscarry. We had been trying for over 9 months. fortunately I ended up pregnant the next month and am now 20 weeks. I hope you are not going through what I went through. I would go to the dr though to get my levels checked just in case.

Exact same experience. I had 6 pregnancies (4 kids and 2 miscarriages.) About 4 days before my cycle was to start, I had very light spotting just like what you described. Then I never started. because I was almost 40, I thought maybe it was premenapause or something. I didn't know about implantaion bleeding. In fact, I told my husband not to worry that it's probably just menapause. Then the morning sickness kicked in and we decided that this wasn't a menopause symptom...LOL I now have a 15 month old!! I didn't have implantation bleeding with my first two and had it with my third. I just thought my period had come a couple of days late. But, then like you it was just spotting and nothing the next day. I took a test and was pregnant! Good Luck!
