Have you seen a reputable Physical Therapist yet?
I would recommend you contact Endurance Rehab in Scottsdale/Phoenix and they will be able to recommend s/o in your area. Their PT's have PhD's and are so extremely knowledgeable. They deal with all injuries, but specialize in sports injuries and take athletes aches seriously.
Has anyone discussed the possibility of Plantar Fasciita (sp?). I had it after baby #2, and of course the GP wanted to treat with motrin. I thought, no way, I'm nursing a baby, but she would not budge on her prescribed protocol.
Anyway, after following their stretching and strengthening exercises my heel pain is gone. I even have a nasty bone spur, but it was the plantar fasciita that was killing me.
I also saw an orthopaedic doc and a podiatrist. Ortho's don't operate on such and the podiatrist insisted on casting my feet and making worthless insole orthotics, which I never got used.
The PT's at Endurance Rehab made me eSoles - and I walk and feel so much better with them. So in short, the PT's can diagnose almost any aillment with your post pregnancy body. One of the PT's there - it's his specialty - new moms.
