PMS or PMDD... yah, it makes a woman feel like that.
If it is hormone based.
TRACK your symptoms, and your menstrual cycles.
IF the symptoms are "cyclical" and there is a pattern to it, per your menstrual periods... then chances are, it is PMS.
Pregnancy, does affect the body in many ways. Even after giving birth. It does affect hormones.
I have PMS... and I always track it/my periods and just KNOW when PMS will arise.
I get moody/irritable. But not depressed.
I CAN tell, when it is a hormone based 'irritability' or me just having a grumpy day.
Because, my irritability, is cyclical. Then once I have my period, it is gone.
But yes, talk to your Doctor.
Anti-Depressants are NOT the only thing for it.
OR see a Naturopath Doctor... and then there will be natural, remedies for it.
So there are alternatives.... to anti-depressants.
And, just because your Doctor suggests Anti-Depressants, that does NOT mean you have to take it or that that is the only, remedy.
Ask for alternatives. Natural alternatives.
It takes the body, about 1 year, for the body to normalize after giving birth.
