My husband's health insurance is changing and I'm unable to keep my current doctor. I hate to just pick from a list based on someone's name. Doea anyone know anything about the following doctors? Michelle Sweet-Albores; Elizabeth Pector, Barbara Opalka; Clara Carls; Lara Ellison; Lise Walinski. What does it mean when there's a DO after their name instead of MD? I really appreciate your help. I am SOO upset about losing my doctor.

What can I do next?

I don't see Michelle Sweet-Albores, but I do go to the same practice and had an appt. with her once. She was great. Plus, I used to know someone that worked for that practice at one time and Dr. Albores was highly recommended.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about any of the dr's you listed. I did want to correct the pp. DO is not doctor of obstetrics. It is a Dr. of Osteopathic Medicine. In general DO's have a more wholistic approach to medicine. Here is one link that explains it. http://www.osteopathic.org/index.cfm?PageID=ado_whatis
