Hi moms,
I don't know where else to look for help. Because of some health issues I have to either buy only organic meats or become a vegetarian. We are on a budget and I always bought chicken on sale for about $1.69/lb for chicken breast. We can't afford to buy just any organic meat, so if I find any good deals on either chicken, beef or lamb then would be great. Where are you buying organic meat products and how much are you paying for it?
P.S I know that Costco carries organic chicken for: $2.29lb/whole chicken, around $4.00lb/tights, and around $6.00/lb for chicken breasts.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks,
a mom of three beautiful girls and a wife to the most wonderful man :)

What can I do next?

I haven't had to deal with this situation, so am not sure, but would suggest you check out the Whole Foods Market. The one I know about is at the corner of Arden and Eastern.

Another great place for organic low cost is Trader Joes

The two suggestions a head of me, stole my thunder. I also suggest Farmer's markets. There are a few organic butchers that attend the one in Roseville at the Whole Foods there. Sometimes they are willing to negotiate price.
