When I was young I used to get UTI's all the time from bubble baths, my doctor told my mom no more bubbles and I think my uti's cleared up but notifying pediatrician is always best bet
Hi All
I found a very little blood on the toilet paper after my girl went peepee the night before last night. I was so worried but it was almost not there. Last night we had some very little too but this morning nothing. I am calling her pediatrician tomorrow but is this normal? She fell while taking a bubble bath 2 nights ago, could this be related?
Hi all and thank you so much for the replies and suggestions. I took her to her doctor even though it was gone completely and thank God everything is ok. It could have been related to the fall but the doctor saw everything was normal and perfect. Thanks again.

It sounds like a urinary tract infection to me. Bubble baths have been known to cause frequent urinary infections in girls old and young. Has she started to complain about it hurting when she pees? My daughter never complained about the pain until it was really bad. My first clue to her have a UTI was she had wet the bed at night and never done that before. She had a very low grade fever, but no other symptoms. The ER dr's basically sent us home saying nothing was wrong. The next day (Mon) I took her to see our ped and it was a UTI. Cranberry juice may help the symptoms until you can get to the Dr. Good Luck!
That sounds like a symptom of a urinary tract infection. Get her to the doctor ASAP. I had one not too long ago, and I noticed the blood before I noticed any pain, so my guess is that your daughter is going to start feeling pain soon. It REALLY hurts, so get it taken care of right away. In the meantime, push fluids! Cranberry juice is recommended, although I found it made me feel a bit nauseous if I didn't have anything else in my stomach.
Best wishes,
J. (mom of 6 yo girl and 3 yo boy)
She could have a labial adhesion. My daughter had one. It's where their "lips" are growning together and you could have seperated them a little. Look up some info on the web about labial adhesions before you go in to see her doc.
Since she fell, I was also going to suggest that her hymen was broken. I'd take her to the doctor anyway just to check it out.
It could possibly be a urinary tract infection. My daughter had a few infections and the first time it definitely scared me because she said it hurt to pee and there was a little blood. She went to the doc and it's been over a year since she's had another infection. I think she was wiping herself incorrectly and she takes bubble baths regularly and has not had another one.
My daughters are not allowed tub baths at all because of the burning, it could be from the bubble baths. I had a bad UTI a couple yeara ago and I did bleed a tiny bit from that but i would think you would know if she had a UTI bad enough to cause her to bleed. My guess it is either from the bubble baths or the fall. I would say give it a day or two(if she isn't complaining) and if you see it again for sure have her seen. Best of luck, being a girl is hard sometimes!
There is one subject that I haven't seen yet and I hate to bring up but is there a chance she was molested? See a dr right away!!! Plus my younger sister fell and hit her pubic bone on a bikes middle bar and her hymon broke from that. just letting you know possibilities.
It may be a urinary tract infection which usually is painful urination, but it could also be from the fall.
I remember when I was litte and learning how to ride a two wheeler, I ran into the side of our house and found out later that I bled there. I was fine and nothing else came of it.
You can either take her to the doctor or wait another day to see if the bleeding has stopped.
A doctor's visit is definitely in order here. I would not waste any time.
if she fell hard enough, she could be bleeding as a result of the fall. My cousin did that once and had to wear pads because of the bleeding (can't exactly wear a bandaid there) my aunt was so embarrassed at the public swimming pool when my 7 yr old cousin walked out of the changing room, held up her pad for everybody to see and yelled across the pool that she was hardly bleeding anymore!
Side note: I had tons of UTIs when I was young, and I never bled as a result, but I would probably still take her to the doctor because unexplained blood is rarely good, and the doctor should at least know about it.
good luck

she may have a urine infection. Ask the pediatrican about giving little girls bubble baths. My grandaughter had to quit using bb altogether as it iritated her so much.
