does anyone know of playgroups in rockwall area?
I am a member of that group that Karen told you about. I was going to suggest www.meetup.com also. We just moved to the area and it's a great way to meet other moms. Look forward to meeting you!
There are two parks in Rockwall, One I would go to would be The Harry Myers park off Air Port Road, from 205 (Goliad) go to Boydstun right by the post office, turn there at the post office (going east) depends on which way you are coming from. Go to Clark Street, turn left on Clark St. Go down to the next stop sign which will be air port road but I don’t know if it is labeled that. But at that stop sign you will turn right. You will go about i would say a half a mile and you will see a public swimming pool off to your left then right after that is the first entrance to the park if you go a little further there will be a second entrance just in front of what use to be the Aluminum Plant drive way. The other park is smaller and is off 66 as you go aroun the S curve from the old court house that street is right across from Kernerdol St. Hope you have fun at either one you go to.

Have you looked in to the MOMS club of Rockwall? I'm a member of the Rowlett chapter and it's great. They have lots of activities planned throughout the week for kids of all ages. It's a nice option if you and the kids need something to do at the last minute.
