Playgroups in the Orange County Area

I also live in Middletown, NY
It' been a long time since I had little ones but I belong to The orange county home school yahoo group and many of the family's have little ones. There are many get togethers and play groups with children of every age.
This is an incredible community of diverse families that choose educate their own children.
I know your son is too young for regular school. At home, school is always in session from day one not just for our children but for us parents as well.
I encourage you to check out this is a great resource.
Also the Thrall Library has a wonderful childrens section that often runs programs for small children.
The Hudson Valley Parent Paper also is a resource I use, available @ the Thrall

I take my 9month old to Musical Munchkins @ Goshen on Thursdays. He's been in the class for 5 months and loves it. They have a website if you want to check it out.

I had my son enrolled at The Little Gym in Middletown when he was 10 months old and he loved it!!! We are going to rejoin in September. And also Mount Carmel in Middletown has a playgroup that we are joining that meets every Tuesday, during the school year, from 9-11a. Good Luck!!!

try the Gymboree in blooming grove off of 208. also there is a Little Gym in New Windsor in the Destina Theater Plaza that has kids classes. Both are very fun places for kids.
